I work with people who feel a bit stuck or at a crossroads – in life or work or both. Together, we explore what really matters, what’s getting in the way, and how you can move forward with confidence. Coaching with me is a chance to pause and reflect, then make meaningful change through a series of online sessions and practical exploration. We'll always work at your pace, in your way – and you’ll be alongside someone who’s genuinely in your corner.
Coaching or Counselling?
There is some overlap between the two, as both help you work with changes and deal with aspects of life that you want to be different. Coaching differs from counselling as we look to spend our time together focused on goals. We talk more about the future and discuss making commitments to actions that will bring about positive change.
Think about Counselling as opening your suitcase and looking inside to see what's there – whereas Coaching is more about picking up the suitcase and asking, "Where are we going?"
What does coaching involve?
We will start with an online 30-minute assessment session (no cost). I'll ask you a few questions and we get to see if we are ok to work together.
A regular 60 or 90-minute (your choice) online coaching session will see us agree on a topic or set of topics for the session. We will then work through those, and I will ask some specific questions to help you understand and develop possible actions you can take. We can both take notes as we go, as a lot gets discussed in our time together. The session ends by reviewing the discussion and highlighting any action points.
The next time we meet, we will check in on the topics and actions of the previous session to see what change has taken place.
Typically, we work together for up to six sessions. It may take longer, but that is up to us, and we will keep reviewing the work. It will be a fortnightly, every three week or monthly commitment to fit your calendar.
